The photographer in the above video had a really bad day. Although, setting a camera on a small rail over a staircase while opening a reflector is just asking for trouble. Go hug your cameras tonight and be thankful they aren’t victims of such carelessness.

Here’s an idea, set up all the big stuff first and break out the camera AFTER everything is ready to meter and shoot.
Oh, and try using a strap if you have a habit of forgetting where you last put your camera.

I have a habit of putting my gear on the floor, ground etc. If its already there I don’t worry about it going there at break away speeds…..
