Alongside the new RF 24-240mm lens announced this week, Canon also unveiled the new PowerShot G5 X Mark II and G7 X Mark III compact cameras.

Both cameras also feature 4K up to 30p, Full HD up to 60p, FHD up to 120p, HDR, high frame rate movie with no crop. Additionally, the deliver 20fps full res still capture and max sensitivity of ISO 12,800.

The PowerShot G7 X Mark III is targeted as a vlogging camera with live-streaming to YouTube capability via a wireless connection, along with vertical video capture (but not while live-streaming).

Canon PowerShot G5 X Mark II top
The PowerShot G5 X Mark II is a more serious model with a new pop-up EVF. It also offers touch-and-drag AF and a new optical 5x lens with a bit more reach than the G7 X Mark II.
