Olympus FE-350 Review at Cameras.co.uk

June 18, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Cameras.co.uk has posted a review of the Olympus FE-350.

If you are looking for a camera that is slow to respond and takes a picture lacking in quality then this could be the camera for you. Otherwise I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Nikon D700 Rumor Archives

June 18, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Below is an archived record of the Nikon D700 rumors leading up to its official announcement.

Is this the new Nikon D700? These images have surfaced across the web and purport to be official promotion material of the Nikon D700. Looks pretty convincing to me. A good portion of the material is readable and appears to be quality copy written for a Nikon DSLR. Additionally, the Nikon D300 price appears to be dropping – perhaps in order to make room for the Nikon D700’s more premium price point. Sony A200 Review at Digital Camera Review

June 17, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Digital Camera Review has posted a review of the Sony A200.

Image and color quality are good and there’s a host of inputs available to customize image parameters if the default shots don’t suit your fancy. The shutter is “DSLR quick” and auto focus performance is good in normal to marginal light, and acceptable in dim light.

Olympus EVOLT E-420 Review at Digicam Review

June 17, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Digicam Review has posted a review of Olympus E-420.

If you want to move into the world of Digital SLRs and don’t know where to start then the Olympus EVOLT E-420 is probably one of the best cameras to choose – despite being Olympus’ “budget” digital SLR – it is not overly limited in any way like some of the other budget Digital SLRs.

The Olympus SP-570 UZ is a mature digital Megazoom camera with many setting possibilities. The camera has all-round features and will certainly also appeal to the more enhanced photographer. The concept is well thought-out and is supported by the experiences of several camera generations.

Pentax K20D Review at Think Camera

June 17, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Think Camera has posted a review of the Pentax K20D.

All in all, the Pentax K20D is a decent camera with enough features to keep top-end enthusiasts, travel photographers and possibly even some pros happy. It’s not the 14.6megapixel sensor that makes this the camera what it is, that almost doesn’t matter – it’s the combination of intuitive layout, functions and relative ease of use.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35 Review at Imaging Resource

June 17, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Imaging Resource has posted a review of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX35.

Weak image quality made the above disappointments difficult to ignore, as well. So while I had a good time with the Panasonic FX35, I think there are better choices on the market.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50 Review at PhotographyBLOG

June 16, 2008 By Eric Reagan

PhotographyBLOG has posted a review of the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50.

. . . the H50’s image quality is better than expected, and if its images don’t quite sing like those from a DSLR with a subject dedicated lens attached, they’re nevertheless reassuringly sharp and colourful even at the default settings, with the ability to adjust these parameters either way to suit personal taste.
