Blackmagic Cinema Camera Price Drops to $1995

August 3, 2013 By Eric Reagan

Blackmagic Cinema Camera

With the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera starting to ship any day now for $995 and the 4K Production Camera available later this month at $3995, Blackmagic Design has dropped the price on its original Cinema Camera to $1995 (down from $2995).

Many people consider the camera to be quite the bargain at $2999, so the $1000 price drop should up the value even further. You can find the price drops already in effect on the Blackmagic Cinema Camera here at B&H Photo and here at Adorama.
