Panasonic DMC-LZ10 Review at Cameras.co.uk

June 10, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Cameras.co.uk has posted a review of the Panasonic LZ10.

When it comes to picture quality my feeling is that the Panasonic DMC LZ10 does not quite hit the mark. It is not that bad, but there are one or two problems that make other cameras a better choice.

Olympus SP-570 UZ Review at PhotographyBLOG

June 9, 2008 By Eric Reagan

PhotographyBLOG has posted a review of the Olympus SP-570 UZ.

The main selling point of the camera is the huge zoom, and this is one area where the SP-570UZ doesn’t disappoint. So long as you steer clear of f/8, the lens delivers excellent sharpness across its entire range.

Sony DSC-W300 Review at Luminous Landscape

June 8, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Luminous Landscape has posted a review of the Sony DSC-W300.

How come nobody is talking about how astonishingly good this little camera is? Image quality is really fine up to ISO 400 on Super A3 sized prints, or even larger. Quite remarkable.

Sony DSC-W130 Review at Steve’s Digicams

June 8, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Steve’s Digicams has posted a review of the Sony DSC-130.

It is incredibly easy to use with several automatic shooting modes to assist you in difficult situations (not to mention a very handy Smile Shutter mode). The quality of our images was very good, as was the video.

Nikon D60 Review at Digital Camera Info

June 7, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Digital Camera Info has posted a review of the 10.1 megapixel Nikon D60.

Imaging performance shines when it comes to noise, and the responsiveness while shooting is exceptional for a camera in this class. However, the D60 also lagged in several equally important areas, including white balance and dynamic range.

Sony A350 Review at DP Review

June 7, 2008 By Eric Reagan

DP Review has posted a full review of the Sony A350.

It’s certainly a competitively-priced, well-specified camera and one that feels better-constructed than many of its rivals. It’s also one that smoothes down the learning curve and will totally satisfy users who aren’t familiar with what the best modern DSLRs are capable of.

Sigma DP1 Review at DP Expert

June 6, 2008 By Eric Reagan

DP Expert has posted a review of the Sigma DP1.

The Sigma DP1 is not a pleasant camera to use. In many ways it feels like a throw-back to the bad old days when compacts were in their infancy.

Casio Exilim EX-F1 Review at Trusted Reviews

June 5, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Trusted Reviews has posted a review of the 60fps Casio EX-F1.

It has several unique abilities which some users will find extremely useful, however it also has some problems. Its still image quality, while good, is no match for the best of the current high spec super-zooms, and its alarmingly high price will also discourage potential buyers.

Canon SD890 IS Review at Steve’s Digicams

June 5, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Steve’s Digicams has posted a review of the Canon PowerShot SD890 IS.  The new SD890 IS features a 10 megapixel sensor, a 2.5? LCD panel and a 5x optical zoom (a 35mm equivalent of 37-185mm). The SD890 IS also features a macro mode that allows close focusing at a distance of less than one inch.

The camera is still incredibly easy to operate, and the quality is what you would expect from a high-end consumer model. The 5x optical zoom and the 10-megapixel imaging sensor are the largest you will find so far on an ELPH.
