Hasselblad H4D-200MS
Hasselblad recently launched its latest medium format camera in the H4D line. The new H4D-200MS sports a 50MP sensor and includes all of the features found in the H4D-50 and H4D-50MS; however, the 200MS now has the ability to capture 200MP images by shifting the sensor and capturing multi-shot images. Phase One Launches 80MP Medium Format Digital Back
Phase One has announced a new line of medium format digital backs, which is headlined by the 80MP Phase One IQ180. Additionally, the IQ160 and IQ140 digital backs offer 60.5MP and 40MP, respectively.
Prices start at around $22,000 and go up.

Hasselblad H4D Ferrari Limited Edition Gets Priced
Hasselblad has announced a price for its 40MP Ferrari-branded H4D kit and includes an 80mm lens. The limited production run of 499 units is now available for €21,499.

Pentax 645D Officially Announced for US
Pentax USA has finally made it official. The 40-megapixel Pentax 645D medium format camera will arrive in the US in December 2010. The camera will be priced at $9999.95 initially. A 55mm f/2.8 lens will also be available for $1199.95.
Both B&H Photo and Adorama are expected to carry the camera. However, tt is not listed on either site at the time of this post.

Pentax 645D (40MP MF Camera) Coming to US in 2010
You may recall the Pentax 645D announcement from earlier this year. As it stood at that time, the 40MP medium format camera was set to only be available in Japan.
Well, that seems to have changed with apparent word from Pentax USA President Ned Bunnell that the Pentax 645D will, in fact, be available later this year in the US. [Read more…]
Hasselblad H4D-31
Hasselblad announced the H4D-31 this week at Photokina 2010 as a solution for high-end 35mm photographers and medium format film shooters looking to make a more affordable switch to digital. The H4D-31 is packaged with an 80mm lens for €9,995, and is also available with a CF-lens adapter in place of the kit lens for those who already shoot medium format film.

Hasselblad HC 50mm-II and HC Macro 120mm-II Lenses
Hasselblad announced a pair of new lenses for its H4D system earlier this week at Photokina 2010. The new HC 50mm-II and HC Macro 120mm-II lenses are the latest in the H4D family and offer a new optical design to take advantage of the 50MP and 60MP sensors found in the top-of-the-line H4D cameras.
