B&H has the Tascam DR-60D XLR recorder with the Rode NTG-1 shotgun mic for $499.99. Additionally, you get PluralEyes 3, a SD card, shock mount and XLR cable in the bundle. The NTG-1 mic alone is a $250 mic. It’s a great shotgun mic. It’s not as nice as the NTG-3; however, that’s a $700 mic. There’s quite a bit of value in this kit. Check it out here at B&H Photo.
