The Casio ZR100 is a 12.1MP sensor with a 12.5x zoom lens (24mm-300mm equivalent) and has the ability to capture Full HD video. As with past Casio point and shoot cameras, the ZR100 captures high speed video at up to 1000fps, albeit at a lowly 224 x 64 pixels. The ZR100 offers a reasonable resolution of 432 x 320 when recording video at 240fps. The big feature that Casio is touting with the ZR100 is its HDR-ART technology, which produces in-camera HDR images.
The Casio EX-ZR100 should be available in March 2011 at an initial retail price of $299.99. Check availability on Amazon.com.
