WD Nomad Rugged Case for MyPassport Drives

June 16, 2011 By Eric Reagan

Western Digital has launched the new Nomad case for its MyPassport portable hard drives. “The WD Nomad rugged case features a polycarbonate exterior and shock-absorbing elastomer cushion inside. It conforms to strict military standards (MIL-STD-810G) for ruggedness. The heavy-duty latch and silicon liner seal out dirt, dust, and moisture.”  Additionally, the USB connector is accessible via a dedicated opening, so you don’t have to remove the drive from the case to access your files.

The case retails for $29.95 and can be found at Amazon and direct from Western Digital.
