I’ve got a review coming for the Canon Rebel T4i soon, but I wanted to go ahead and pass along some sample images from the camera that I’ve been sitting on for a while. Check them out below.
Note that some of the below images has received some minor adjustments in Lightroom 4 to my own personal preferences and tastes.
All of these images were shot with either the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens, which is available as a kit lens for the Rebel T4i, or the new EF 40mm f/2.8 STM pancake lens. And one of the color chart shots for ISO comparisons was shot with an EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens for additional reference.
Feel free to download any of these sample images for your personal inspection (not for republication). You can get the original files by right-clicking on any of the images and choosing “Save link as…”
Overall, I’m happy with what the Rebel T4i does in terms of image quality and functionality. It’s a fair (albeit mild) step up for its predecessor, the Canon Rebel T3i. I’ll have the full review up soon with all of my thoughts on the latest Rebel.
