Epson has announced a new budget scanner, the Perfection V39, which retails for $99 that requires no warm-up time and delivers 4800 dpi optical resolution.
The compact scanner has a maximum scan area of 8.5″ x 11.7″ and can scan a document at 300 dpi in 10 seconds.
With the included Epson Easy Photo Scan software, the Perfection V39 is capable of scanning and sharing photos directly to Facebook, Google Drive and other cloud services, and scans oversized prints, documents and artwork for a large range of projects using the included ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch Deluxe software.
The Perfection V39 features a built-in kickstand that allows it to stand vertically for space saving. The lid is removable for use with books and photo albums. Additionally, it is USB powered so there is no need for an AC adapter.
The Epson Perfection V39 is available now at a retail price of $99.99; however, it is discounted to $79.99 at launch at B&H. Check it out here at B&H Photo.
Unless it’s high-end scanning such as drum or transparencies. I use the best scanner of all – my camera!
