As a replacement for the popular R3000, the P600 is a first P-series (for “photo”) printer in the SureColor line. The ink set is entirely new and with deeper black density and improved contrast ratio and dynamic range.

As a 13″ printer, the P600 sits in the mid-range enthusiast and low-end of the pro market, while the 17″ Epson SureColor P800 is the latest Epson P-series printer that replaced the extremely popular 3880.

Epson Stylus Photo R2880 Review at PhotographyBLOG

July 28, 2008 By Eric Reagan

PhotographyBLOG has posted a brief review of the Epson Stylus Photo R2880 printer.

The Epson R2880 does feature a couple of very welcome enhancements that bring the printer up to the same output quality as the larger 4880, 7880, and 9880 models. The most obvious of these is the replacement of the standard magenta inks with the newest Vivid Magenta and Vivid Light Magenta. These new formulations increase the color accuracy and gamut of the printer, especially in blues and purples.
