New rumors point to Canon releasing a 6D Mark II sometime after the Canon 5D Mark IV finally lands, which Canon Rumors says won’t be until 2016. On the spec side though, the 6D Mark II is rumored to be slightly smaller and lighter than the original Canon 6D and possibly have a different battery. Resolution is said to possibly increase slightly but no real earth-shattering changes are rumored for the camera.
Hopefully the battery DOESN’T change.
It’s nice to share batteries between the 5D Mk2, 5D Mk3, 7D, 7D Mk2, and 6D. Why change it?!

switched from 6D to D750, went for all the 1.8 primes 20-85, surprising quality for a modest investment, canon set the scene with 5d3 but seem to have put the brakes on development, as did Nikon 15 years ago…. that opened the door for Canon, swings & roundabouts-advantage Nikon ( this month).
Quality from 7100 is also awesome.Though splitting hairs in many cases-pixel peepers =train spotters.

Canon 6d is finally discontinued by canon… that clearly means that new Canon 6d Mark II is coming soon, we do Hope that the upcoming 6d Mark II will feature dual pixel CMOS AF sensor and New DIGIC 6 Image Processor,
