Canon Releases Digital Photo Professional 4.3.0

Canon DPP 4

Canon has updated Digital Photo Professional 4 to version 4.3.0. The new version adds new cameras, features and fixes.

New RAW format support includes support for the following cameras:

  • EOS Rebel T5 / 1200D
  • EOS 60D
  • EOS 60Da
  • PowerShot G7 X
  • PowerShot G1 X Mark II
  • EOS M2
  • EOS M

New features for DPP 4.3.0 including the following:

  • Faster, real-time adjustments
  • Improved RAW file workflow
  • Better, more approachable user interfaces
  • Compatible with 64-bit native environments
  • Colour adjustments for specific colour gamuts
  • Improved highlight recovery provides expanded tonality
  • Improved shadow recovery function
  • Support for movie playback
  • Auto Lighting Optimizer can be applied to JPEG images
  • Better integration with EOS Utility 3 software

Additionally, version 4.3.0 provides fixes for the following issues:

  • a phenomenon in which the picture style set on the camera is not transferred to Digital Photo Professional properly
  • a phenomenon in which the copy and paste command using keyboard shortcuts cannot be used for the folder name

You can download the updated software from Canon Europe’s website. Click on your camera and select it to download from the software tab.

    Can anyone tell me if this version will work with my T2i/550d. When I go to Canon’s website and choose my camera, I am only presented with v.3.14.48. However, if I choose a 60d for example then the 4.3 version is offered for download
