The Nikon Z6 and Z7 full frame mirrorless cameras are set to launch later this week. However, it looks like the official press photos have leaked out ahead of time.

As much of a Nikon fanboi that I once was, all I can say to these images is “meh”.
Interestingly, they seemed to have moved the lens release button to the left side of the flange (when holding the camera) from the traditional lower right side – wonder why that is.
Had this come out a few years back I still would have selected the Fuji X-T1 (and now X-T2) as it has much nicer controls – these look like they are aimed at point-and-shooters who want a bigger camera.
