Nikon Announces “Trade Up to Z” Camera Trade-In Program

Nikon has announced a new trade-in program for its new Z series full frame mirrorless cameras. Now through March 31, 2019, you can trade in an operating interchangeable lens camera for a Nikon Z Series camera and get $400 towards a Nikon Z 7 or $200 towards a Nikon Z 6 in addition to your camera’s trade-in value.

New Video Teases Lenses for Nikon’s Z6/Z7 Mirrorless Cameras

Nikon has released a new update in its continuing tease of the full frame mirrorless camera coming August 23. The teaser video (above) shows of Nikon’s historic lenses, opening with the legendary Noct-Nikkor 58mm f/1.2 lens. The video closes with a quick tease of the upcoming Nikkor Z lens.

Native lenses are an important part of any mirrorless system. While mount adapters are sure to be a part of Nikon’s new system, having native lenses for the new mirrorless mount are necessary for widespread adoption. Sony has been working overtime to build out its stable of E-mount lenses over the past several years. Let’s see if Nikon can excite its user base with some important and practical lenses out of the gate.
