Let’s Go Digital has posted a review of the Sony Cybershot DSC-W170.
The Sony Cybershot W170 is a pleasant camera to work with. It’s a pity that the image quality did not appear clearly from a technical point of view in a number of situations. This is not a camera for the evening or in difficult light circumstances; it is a good-weather model.
Steve’s Digicams has posted a review of the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H10.
What the it lacks in size, it makes up for in performance. On start up it is able to capture its first image in less than 2 seconds, great for having the 10x zoom to contend with. There is virtually no shutter lag when the camera is pre-focused, and just 2/10 of a second when allowing the auto-focus to run.
Imaging Resource has posted a review of the Canon PowerShot SD790 IS.
The Canon SD790 IS has only one strike against it and that’s its 3x optical zoom. You might think the lack of a Manual mode would be another, but the Canon SD790 IS is designed for taking great snapshots. With its DIGIC III processor, it does just that.
Megapixel.net has posted a review of the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W120.
Combines design, sturdiness, layout of controls, comfort in use.

Think Camera has posted a full review of the Nikon D90 and its 18-105mm VR kit lens.
The D90 is a trophy of a middleweight camera, with the D-movie HD video mode tagging on an extra medal or two. No other DSLR in the world has a video feature to match; which no doubt opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

I’ve been a big fan of Joby’s Gorillapods for awhile now. They’ve recently come out with a new version, the Gorillapod Go-Go. The Go-Go is actually a little smaller and lighter than the original Gorillapod or the SLR Gorillapod. But it also comes with a couple of mounts not yet available with the older versions. Beyond the standard camera tripod mount, the Go-Go has a suction cup for temporarily holding other gear and a stickypad for a more permanent attachment.
The rumor is that they’ll be releasing the attachments as a separate product, for those of us who already own either the original version or the SLR.
Think Camera has posted a review of the Samsung GX-20.
Just because Samsung are relatively new to the photographic game is by no means an excuse to ignore what the GX-20 is – a powerful little DSLR that will give other manufacturers a good run for their money.

Is it worth the asking price? Well that depends on your own would-be use and needs. For the amateur there are more affordable alternatives, but for the professional needing full frame capability it can be considered a steal.

The Lensbaby 2.0 and 3G are selective focus SLR lenses, which have a flexible “lens barrel” to give you that smooth out of focus effect in portions of your images. While the feature list makes this seem like a very appealing model, the below average shooting performance, horrible High ISO image noise, and just “average” 10-megapixel image quality results lower its appeal.
