Sony A200 Review at Digital Camera Info

July 5, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Digital Camera Info has posted a review of the Sony A200.

The camera is responsive, feels good in your hand and lets you take very nice pictures. What’s more, it comes with a lens with a wider zoom range than more expensive models, plus in-camera image stabilization that means you can benefit from anti-shake technology without investing in pricey stabilized lenses.

Pentax K200D Review at Photography Review

July 5, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Photography Review has posted a review of the Pentax K200D.

The Pentax K200D is a great digital SLR for beginner, amateur or casual photographers. It’s a very well built camera that reaches out to the beginner crowd. But there are also plenty of “pro” level features that a photographer can grow into.

Ricoh GX200 Review at PhotographyBLOG

July 5, 2008 By Eric Reagan

PhotographyBLOG has posted a review of the all new Ricoh GX200.

At first glance the GX200 seems very similar to it predecessor, but after a week’s shooting it quickly becomes evident that this camera is much more refined, both in terms of speed and features – the only thing lacking is any improvement in image quality.

Nikon Coolpix P60 Review at PhotographyBLOG

July 5, 2008 By Eric Reagan

PhotographyBLOG has posted a review of the Nikon Coolpix P60.  The P60 is an 8 megapixel point & shoot camera with a 5x optical zoom (equivalent to 36mm-180mm on a 35mm format camera).  The P60 also features image shift Vibration Reduction (VR) and sensitivity range of ISO 80-2000.

The Nikon Coolpix P60 is a well-built (especially solid with two AA batteries inserted) and reasonably priced option for digital beginners or casual snappers, if slightly boringly bringing nothing new to the party.

Pentax K200D Review on PhotographyBLOG

July 5, 2008 By Eric Reagan

PhotographyBLOG has published a review of the entry-level Pentax K200D.

Just like the Pentax K100D Super, the K200D ticks very nearly all of the boxes for those wanting an easy to use DSLR that delivers images you’ll want to keep straight out of the camera, and with the minimum of user input and effort to boot.

July 4, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Steve’s Digicams has posted a review of the Casio EX-Z200.

Casio has added some great features to the Exilim series with EX-Z200. The 4x wide zoom lens and face recognition and auto shutter features are great additions to the camera.

June 29, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Digicam Review has posted a review of the Sony Cybershot DSC-W130.

The Sony Cybershot W130 is very “point and shoot” friendly – the camera produces great results in almost every situation – and provides features designed specifically for taking photos of friends and family with face detection and smile shutter technology.

Sony Cybershot W300 Review at DP Expert

June 29, 2008 By Eric Reagan

DP Expert has published a review of the Sony Cybershot W300.

OK, let’s go out on a limb here – this is the best compact that we have tested. The Sony W series has always been good, but this one is amazing.

Sony A350 Review at Steve’s Digicams

June 28, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Steve’s Digicams has posted a review of the Sony A350.

At about US$899 or less as tested, I feel the A350 offers a great value for such a well balanced camera. The Live View performance offered by the A350 is way ahead of its competitors.

Panasonic DMC LZ8 Review at Cameras.co.uk

June 28, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Cameras.co.uk has posted a review of the Panasonic DMC LZ8.

As much as I would like to give a glowing review to every camera I test it is not always possible. Although the Panasonic DMC LZ8 has some good features there are other cameras with a similar set of features that I prefer.
