Automatic Duck Plug-ins Now Available for Free

Automatic Duck Plug-ins

Automatic Duck has changed its focus since the big partnership announcement with Adobe.  As a result of the inability to provide the level of support that the company has provided in the past, Pro Import AE, Pro Import FCP and Pro Export FCP (both versions, for FCP7 and FCPX) are available at no charge.

Project X27: Export Final Cut Pro X Projects to FCP 7

It looks like the folks over at Intelligent Assistance have figured out a way to translate FCP X projects into FCP 7 timelines.  Project X?7 is a $50 XML translator that takes your FCP X XML file and translates it into something that FCP 7 can understand.  Once in FCP 7, you can then take your project to a number of different applications, including Premiere Pro, which is the gateway to Dynamic Link with After Effects and other Adobe apps.

Apple Upgrades Final Cut Pro X to Version 10.0.1

FCP X Export

Apple has upgraded Final Cut Pro X to version 10.0.1 adding XML import and export, media stems export and Xsan support for multi-user workflows.  You can also create a custom starting timecode in order to accommodate bars and tone.  Additionally, transitions can now be added to connected clips without the need to create a secondary storyline.
