In Parts 1 and 2 of this series, I provided an introduction to this autofocus evaluation, as well as a brief overview of the Canon 1D Mark IV and Nikon D3S AF systems.  In Part 3 of this series, I looked more in-depth at images captured during basketball games with the 1D Mark IV and D3S. If you have not read the previous installments in this series, you can do so now by clicking the links below:

Aiptek i2 3D HD Camcorder Review

October 30, 2010 By Eric Reagan

The Aiptek 3D i2 camera is one of the first and few 3D camcorders of the year, but sadly lands quite solidly at the lower end of the camcorder totem pole.  I really had high hopes for my first 3D pocket camcorder, but the Aiptek 3D fell short on most aspects.

Nikon NF-300i Meets Android, Goes 3D

October 28, 2010 By Eric Reagan

The Nikon NF-300i is a 7.2-inch digital photo frame that runs on the Android operating system.  The big buzz about the NF-300i is the autostereoscopic screen, which allows you to view 3D images without the need for 3D glasses.

The NF-300i displays are available to my Picturetown 3D members who pony up about 20k yen per year (about $250 USD).  And right now, they are only available in Japan.
