Sony ILC-3000 Images Leak Out

August 25, 2013 By Eric Reagan

Sony A3000

Sony is due to officially announce the ILC-3000 (aka A3000) this week, which explains why were are not starting to see images of the camera leak out. The ILC-3000 is expected to sport a 20MP APS-C sensor and feature Sony’s E-mount instead of the A-mount found in earlier DSLR-styled Alpha cameras.

The camera is believed to forego the SLT translucent mirror design in favor of a full-fledged mirrorless design. Additional specs include a 230k-dot res LCD, a 1.44-million dot EVF and a sensitivity range of ISO 100-16,000.

Along with the new Sony ILC-3000, a new 16-70mm f/4 OSS Zeiss lens is expected to arrive in E-mount form.
