New Fujifilm lens are coming for the X-Pro1. Fuji recently released a roadmap detailing upcoming XF mount lenses.
This fall, expect to see the XF 14mm f/2.8 prime, alongside the XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4 lens. In early 2013, Fuji will be launching the XF 56mm f/1.4, the XF 27mm f/2.8 pancake and the XF 23mm f/1.4 lenses. In mid-2013, Fuji will launch the XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 and the XF 10-24mm f/4 lenses.

Fuji had previously said it would bring an Leica M-Mount adapter to the X-Pro1 and, today, Fuji made good on that promise with the announcement of the $200 Fuji-labeled M-Mount adapter.
The camera side of the M-Mount Adapter features an array of electronic connections that automatically pass information to the FUJIFILM X-Pro1 body based on pre-registered lens profiles. With firmware version 1.10 or later, this information is transmitted by pressing the Function button on the side of the adapter, which allows users to access the M-Mount Adapter Settings menu on the rear LCD.
The adapter will be available in June. Check availability at B&H Photo.

I finally got to get some hands-on time with the new Fuji X-Pro1 at CES 2012. After handing out Camera of the Year honors in 2011 to the Fuji X100, I’ve been itching to see what Fuji had coming for the oft-rumored interchangeable lens lineup. Based on what I’ve seen so far, the Fuji X-Pro1 looks like it won’t disappoint and should easily be in the running for the 2012 Camera of the Year. [Read more…]

Fuji X-S1
The Fuji X-S1 is a new ultrazoom model that takes a place next to the Fuji X10 and Fuji X100 in the premium X-series line.
The Fuji X-S1 features a 12MP EXR CMOS sensor that is a larger 2/3″ format. The X-S1 features a manual 26x zoom lens (24-624mm equivalent) at f/2.8-5.6 and 2x enhanced digital zoom, which Fuji claims offers expanded reach with minimal quality loss.
The Fuji X-S1 captures full resolution images at 7 fps and will record 1080p HD video.
The X-S1 should be available later this month at $799.95. Check availability at Amazon.com.
