Corel has released PaintShop Pro X7 and PaintShop Pro X7 Ultimate with several new enhancements designed to help the program compete with the professional-grade editing prowess of Photoshop.

DxO Optics Pro has been updated to version 9.5.2 with added support for the Nikon D810 RAW files. Additionally, the new version adds 894 new optic modules, which puts DxO Optics Pro past the milestone of 20,000 DxO Optics Modules.

Corel AfterShot Pro was hyped as a serious Lightroom competitor when it was announced over two years ago. While the program received a few updates along the way, it was quickly forgotten and written off by most photographers. onOne Software has released Perfect Photo Suite 8.5, which includes speed and productivity enhancements to the Perfect Photo Suite’s Browse module, improved performance with the Perfect Eraser tool, and enhanced masking support in Perfect Effects and Perfect Layers. RAW file support is also included with the Standard Edition in version 8.5.
Perfect Photo Suite 8.5 has grown into a full-featured photo editor, which works as a plug-in with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, and Apple Aperture, as well as a standalone app.

Get Totally Rad has released a new preset pack called Replichrome II: Slide, which works with Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw.
