At CES 2011, Kodak has introduced a new all-in-one printer, the ESP C310, which uses Kodak’s new 30 series ink system (supposedly lowering total ink replacement cast. The Kodak ESP C310 should be available by April 2011 at an initial retail price of $99.95. Check availability on Amazon.com.

The Casio EX-H15 is a 14.1MP point and shoot camera that packs a 10x zoom lens into a rather compact body. It serves as a replacement to the EX-H10 in Casio’s point and shoot lineup. The EX-H15 housing has a nice feel with a variety of colors available on the aluminum finish.
While the body is a a little thicker than some of the other point and shoot cameras announced by Casio at CES 2010, the 10x zoom makes it worth the added girth. I was actually surprised at just how far that 10x lens extended from the both of the camera at the max telephoto end of the zoom. [Read more…]
One of the many point and shoot cameras announced at CES 2010 was the Panasonic FH20. I spent a little while at CES checking out the new camera and its siblings.
The FH20 is at the top end of the new cameras in the FH lineup. The other new cameras, the FH3 and FH1, are essentially just lower-spec versions of the FH20. Since all the models were preproduction and I couldn’t evaluate image quality at CES, the handling and performance comments on the FH20 pretty much match up with my impressions of the FH3 and FH1 as well. While Sony released a ridiculous number of point and shoot cameras at CES 2010, a couple of the standout Cyber-shot cameras are the HX5V and the TX7. I spent a little while at Sony’s booth with both of these cameras and came away with an overall positive first impression. [Read more…]
Casio has updated the popular EX-FC100 (last year’s model) with the EX-FH100, which adds a little more resolution and doubles the zoom magnification from 5x to 10x. The FH100 also features the popular high frame rate feature found in the FC100.
As usual, Casio had a great setup at CES for testing out the camera’s features. This year, Casio had a martial arts team throwing kicks and twirling swords to put the high frame rate camera through the paces. Below, you’ll find a couple of videos from the FH100. [Read more…]
The Casio EX-10HG is a new concept camera that was not part of any announcements at CES 2010. A handful of EX-10HG prototypes were on display in Casio’s booth on the CES showfloor.
The EX-10HG is essentially an EX-FH100 with one important difference – it includes a hybrid GPS system built-in to the camera. This is not just a geotagging camera. The EX-10HG has a full-fledged GPS system, complete with map system powered by Google Maps. [Read more…]
While at CES 2010, I had the opportunity to handle the new 14.6MP Samsung NX10. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take any image samples from the camera because it was a pre-production model. The good news about the camera though, is that it was mostly functional and gave a good idea of what to expect from the NX10 that we’ll soon see on store shelves. [Read more…]
