Pentax has taken the wraps off of its new flagship DSLR – the 24MP Pentax K-3.

As the first image of the new Pentax K-3 has leaked out, it looks like Pentaxians will continue to be disappointed with no full frame DSLR. If this image is legit, then the Pentax K-3 is, in fact, an APS-C camera. Prior to the release of the latest Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II lens, there were rumors that a prototype of a version with Canon’s Image Stabilization was undergoing testing. Then, the new lens came along, it didn’t have IS, and word of any kind of possible replacement with image stabilization died out.
