It looks like Fuji will officially unveil the new X-T1 mirrorless camera on January 28 based on this teaser image that appeared on Fuji’s website.
The X-T1 is rumored to support a 16MP APS-C X-Trans sensor and weather sealing. It is expected to be situated between the X-E2 and X-Pro1 cameras.

Olympus is expected to unveil the OM-D E-M10 and several new lenses soon. The E-M10 had been previously leaked out by the Indonesian government listing above. The E-M10 is rumored to feature the same 16MP sensor as found in the E-M5 and the same processor as the E-M1. The Fuji X-T1 is rumored to launch on January 28 as the next mirrorless camera in Fuji’s X-series line. The camera is rumored to have a bigger and better EVF and will continue Fuji’s tradition of the 16MP APS-C X-Trans sensor.

A Sony ILCE-5000 camera has been registered on the Taiwan National Communication Commission website, which likely points to the upcoming release of the camera. CES 2014 would be a good time frame to see it show up.
The Sony A3000, A7 and A7R all carry the “ILCE” moniker in their technical product number. While we all refer to the cameras with an “A” prefix, they are technically the Alpha 3000, Alpha 7 and Alpha 7R – or more precisely (using the symbol) ?3000, ?7, and ?7R. It would be logical then that the ILCE-5000 follows the new “Alpha” branding (“NEX” is dead) and carries the product name ?5000 when it officially arrives. [Read more…]
