The Panasonic Lumix FX75 is a 14.1MP, slim point and shoot camera with a 5x optical zoom, covering an equivalent range of roughly 24-120mm. The FX75 can capture 720p HD video in AVCHD Lite format. It also features a 3-inch touchscreen LCD on the rear for a finger-friendly interface.

Panasonic has unveiled the Lumix G 8mm fisheye lens for it’s G-series Micro Four Thirds cameras. The new lens offers an equivalent focal length of 16mm on a full frame camera thanks to the Micro Four Thirds 2x crop factor.

Panasonic has announced pricing for its two newest Micro Four Thirds cameras, the Lumix G2 and Lumix G10. Both cameras will come equipped with the LUMIX G VARIO 14-42mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH/MEGA O.I.S. lens.

The Panasonic Lumix G10 is a 12.1MP Micro Four Thirds camera that follows the previous generation G1, GH1 and GF1 cameras. In addition to still images, the G10 captures 720p HD video at 30 fps in Motion JPEG format.
The G10 is paired with a 14-42mm image stabilized kit lens and, of course, is compatible with all previously introduced Micro Four Thirds Lumix G lenses from Panasonic. The G10 features a 3-inch, 460k dot resolution LCD and an electronic viewfinder, both of which offer approximately 100% frame coverage. Additionally, the G10 includes a built-in pop-up flash and a hot shoe for external flashes.

Panasonic has been on a real tear lately with its solid line of Lumix Micro Four Thirds cameras, which feature interchangeable lenses. The latest two Panasonic Micro Four Thirds models, the GH1 and GF1, offer solid HD video capture. The Panasonic GH1 comes with a 14-140mm HD lens specifically designed for quiet auto operation for use in video recording. Currently, Panasonic has no DSLRs in its line-up.
Several recent patent applications filed in the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”) indicate that Panasonic may be bringing some of the popular features found in the GH1 and GF1 to a full-on DSLR. In particular, USPTO Application No. 12/581,286, filed by Panasonic on October 19, 2009, reveals a DSLR (complete with mirror and optical viewfinder) with a video mode, vari-angle LCD, on-board video LED light source and special video-compatible lenses. The Panasonic DMC-ZS7 is a 12.1-megapixel point and shoot camera with a 12x zoom lens and optical image stabilization. The ZS7 also features built-in GPS that embeds photos and videos with longitude and latitude details.
The ZS7 is compatible with new SDXC cards and provides HD video recording in AVCHD Lite format. The ZS7 also boasts a new Sonic Speed AF system for fast AF acquisition and a quick shutter response time.
