Convergent Design has dropped the price of its Odyssey7Q+ to $1795 (was $2295), which slots it in between the competing Atomos Ninja Assassin and Shogun. At $1795, it arguably offers more value than either Atomos option since the Odyssey7Q+ offers up to ProRes 4444 12-bit recording out of the box and includes a 256GB Convergent Design SSD. It offers 4K capture over both the HDMI and SDI inputs.
Additionally, the Odyssey7Q+ offers the ability to upgrade to RAW recording options with compatible cameras via a paid upgrade from Convergent Design. You can find the Odyssey7Q+ at the new price point here at B&H Photo.
Adobe is kicking off a new video series called Lightroom Coffee Break featuring bite-size videos that offer Lightroom tips and tricks in 60 seconds or less. Lightroom team member Benjamin Warde is the host and the first two videos are embedded in this post.

After a long delay, the 42MP Sony RX1R II is now listed in stock and shipping at B&H. The RX1R II when through a major delay as the initial batch had a light leak problem. The issue now appears to be fixed with the RX1R II going forward. Check it out here at B&H Photo.
