Along with the new XQD card, a new Lexar Pro 600x 256GB SDXC card surfaced at CES 2013. The new card offers 90MB/s read speeds and carries an MSRP of $1000. Check it out here on Amazon.com.

Nikon 1 S1
Nikon took official wraps off the new J3 and S1 mirrorless cameras at CES 2013. The J3 follows the limited-availability of the J2 and the S1 rounds out the bottom-end of the Nikon 1 series lineup.
The Nikon 1 J3 features a 14.2MP CX-format sensor and captures HD video. It retains the peppy AF speed that’s become customary to the Nikon 1 line and sports a 15fps burst capability. The Nikon 1 J3 is equipped with a 10-30mm kit lens and should be available in February for $599.95. Check availability here at B&H Photo.
The Nikon 1 S1 sports a 10.1MP CX-format sensor and captures HD video as well. It has a simpler interface for easier navigation, but still features the fast AF and 15fps frame rate found in the J3. The previously-announced Nikon D5200 is making its US debut at CES 2013 and should be available later this month with the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 VR lens for $899.95 in black, red and bronze.

Alongside the new PowerShot N, Canon also announced the ELPH 130 IS, A2600 and A1400 at CES 2013.
The Canon PowerShot ELPH 130 IS features a 16MP sensor, 8x optical zoom and 3-inch LCD. Built-in WiFi allows the ELPH 130 IS to connect with Canon’s CameraWindow app on iOS and Android devices. Pentax has expanded the lineup of its Q10 mirrorless camera to include 100 different color options. No additional features – but a whole lot more colors. You can customize your Pentax Q10 on Pentax’s website or you can see all the options from Adorama as well.
The Canon PowerShot N is a new 12.1MP compact camera with a unique design. It has a a shutter and zoom ring on the top and bottom to aid with snapping images from a variety of angles. The PowerShot N also captures 1080p HD video and can wirelessly share images to iOS and Android devices via a Mobile Device Connect Button.
A new Creative Shot mode automatically applies “a series of artistic elements by varying composition, lighting and color. Creative Shot will render five different variations of the shot in different color modes, crops, and styles, delivering creative new perspectives automatically while still maintaining the original image.”

OWC has a new 480GB SSD drive that serves as an internal hard drive upgrade for the MacBook Pro Retina. The Aura Pro is available as a single replacement drive or with the Envoy Pro kit that features an enclosure with USB 3.0 connectivity for putting the original drive that you’re replacing and using it as an external drive.
