Canon EOS 5D Mark IV Announcement Coming August 25

New word from Canon Rumors assures us that the hotly-rumored Canon 5D Mark IV will be officially announced next month on August 25, 2016.

Adobe Camera Raw 9.6.1 Adds Fuji X-T2 Support

Adobe has released Camera Raw 9.6.1, which adds RAW file support for the new Fuji X-T2.

The new release also brings a couple bug fixes:

  • Uncompressed DNGs files converted from Fuji X-E2 RAF source images were are unable to be read
  • Errors that preventing customers from creating a panorama from two HDR DNG source images.

You can download the update through the Adobe Creative Cloud app or through the update dialog in Photoshop CC.

How to Add Patterns and Textures to Clothing in Photoshop

This process requires heavy use of the warp tool, which Aaron gives us some good tips on using the right way in order make the fabric wrinkles, along with the highlights and shadows, believable. How to Change the Color of Walls in Photoshop

In this video from Phlearn, Aaron Nace walks us through how to change the color of walls in Photoshop. It’s a pretty simple process because of the straight lines on walls that allow us to easily use the Pen tool for selecting the edges and corners of walls. He also shows us some neat tricks for quickly deselecting objects that may be in the middle of our wall selections. Check it out above.
