Nikon Rumors has published what appears to be the first photos of the upcoming Nikon D5.
As Nikon Rumors points out, there is a new ISO button on the top plate and the video record button has been moved to the side. Additionally, there are mic holes added above the D5 label on the left side of the lens mount instead of on the right side.
Again, we expect to see more of the Nikon D5 at or around CES 2016 early next month.
Nikon D5 Rumored to Have 153 AF Points, Max Native ISO at 102,400
Word on the upcoming Nikon D5 has been slow ever since Nikon announced its development earlier this fall. New rumors (via Nikon Rumors), however, point to an updated AF system with 153 AF points (up from 51-points on the Nikon D4s). Additionally, the max native sensitivity is expected to get a boost to ISO 102,400 (up from 25,600 on D4s).
Prior rumored specs for the D5 included:
- New 20MP FX sensor
- 15 fps
- Body design similar to the D4s
- 4K video 60/30fps
- Full HD slow motion
As I’ve said before, I suspect that we will see/hear more around CES 2016 in early January.
Stay tuned.
