Broncolor Siros Lighting Kit Review from Karl Taylor

Karl Taylor has put together a great series of videos reviewing the Broncolor Siros monolight kit. The above video is the fourth and final in the series in which he’s doing some flash duration and speed tests. The Broncolor Siros can deliver up to an impressive 1/8000s flash duration, which he shows off in the video.

Nikon D5500 Now In Stock

The new Nikon D5500 is in stock and shipping. Recall that the D5500 was announced earlier this year at CES 2015. It features a 24.2MP sensor, EXPEED 4 processor and no optical low-pass filter. It has other solid specs like 1080/60p video capture, a 39-point AF sensor and captures still frames at up to 5fps in continuous shooting mode.

The D5500 is available as just the body only or in kit form with the 18-55mm or 18-140mm lenses. Check it out here at B&H Photo.

Lightroom mobile iOS 1.3

Lightroom mobile for iPad

Adobe has updated Lightroom mobile for iOS to version 1.3, which includes the following new features:

  • The ability to edit images faster by copying image adjustments and pasting them onto another photo
  • Segmented view in Collections enables users to easily find favorite images
  • Presentation Mode allows users to share images with family and friends without worrying about flags, ratings and adjustments being accidentally changed
  • Bug fixes for issues identified in earlier Lightroom mobile releases
