Nikon D60 Review at Think Camera

April 24, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Think Camera has posted a review of the Nikon D60.

Those looking to make a first class entry level DSLR purchase need only know that the Nikon D60 is an excellent choice – it’s small, light, affordable, easy to use and has enough solid and fun features to get any enthusiast going. Although current Nikon D40x users will probably not feel the need to upgrade, taken on its own merit, Nikon D60 is up there with the best entry level DSLR, if not the best.

For the latest news and reviews on the D60, check out Photography Bay’s Nikon D60 Reviews and Resources page.

Casio EX-F1 Review at Luminous Landscape

April 24, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Luminous Landscape has reviewed the 60fps Casio EX-F1.

My recommendation therefore is that if you’re a photographic experimenter and have $1000 to burn, the Casio EX-F1 will be a very appealing toy for a few weeks or months. But for the rest of us, in the end it will be found to be neither fish nor fowl. But it’s a fascinating harbinger of what is to come.

Sony A350 Review at Let’s Go Digital

April 23, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Let’s Go Digital has posted a review of the 14.2 megapixel, live view Sony A350 DSLR.

My first impression of the Sony A350 is an excellent one. It is a pleasant camera, quite well-organized and beautifully designed. On top of that it is a solid camera and with the abundance of accessories in the back of my mind, it is also a camera that could be the start of a long relationship with Sony.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 Review at DP Review

April 23, 2008 By Eric Reagan

DP Review has just posted its review of the 9.1 megapixel Panasonic DMC-TZ5.

If you are looking for a travel or walkaround camera that is quick enough for the occasional spontaneous street shot and can also produce great quality HD video you should definitely have a closer look at the TZ5.

Sony W170 Review at Imaging Resource

April 23, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Imaging Resource has posted a review of the Sony W170.

Despite all the fancy features and the attractive body, what makes the W170 a Dave’s Pick is its image quality. Don’t take a loupe to these 10.1-megapixel images, but print them and you’ll see what we mean. Good color and detail at large print sizes.

Sony DSC-W130 Review at Imaging Resource

April 22, 2008 By Eric Reagan

Imaging Resource has posted a review of the Sony DSC-W130.

It has a great selection of useful preset modes and creative shooting tools, and most impressive, it combines its Face Detection technology with a smile detector for an extremely useful Smile Shutter mode, giving you in-focus images of wiggly kids or small groups of people, without resorting to a continuous shooting mode.

For more reviews and info on the W130, check out PHotography Bay’s Sony W130 Reviews page.
