Nikon just announced three new wide-angle lenses – one DX lens and two FX lenses.
The new DX format lens is the Nikon AF-P 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR lens. The new FX format lenses are the Nikon AF-S Fisheye 8-15mm f/3.5-4.5E ED and the Nikon 28mm f/1.4E ED lenses. [Read more…]
Last week, I passed along a reader’s tip that a limited number of Canon 8-15mm f/4L lenses would be making their way into the US this week. It looks like that is now coming to pass since B&H is taking pre-orders for the 8-15mm Fisheye lens.
As you may be aware, when B&H opens items up for pre-order, it generally means that they will be shipping within a few days. Based on the numbers I was given by the tipster, I wouldn’t expect these to last long.
A tipster sent me an email that there will be a limited number of Canon 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye lenses coming to Canon USA next week. This info is consistent with Canon’s previously announced delay and just squeezes this lens into the promised July delivery date. [Read more…]
