How About Some Content-Aware Lens Correction?
Of course, seeing the latest and greatest things unveiled by Adobe is a cool thing about Photoshop World. However, another cool thing about the keynote session and other sessions withing Photoshop World is taking away little educational gems that will help you grow as a photographer and editor.
In this snippet from the keynote, we get a little taste of what happens when you combine tools like the puppet warp and content-aware fill for some content-aware lens correction in a 5-image panoramic (an image where ordinary lens correction wouldn’t hold water).

New Zeiss E Mount and MFT Mount Adapters for CP.2 Lenses
In the lead up to NAB 2011, Zeiss has announced new adapters for its CP.2 prime cine lenses that allow them to work with Sony’s E-Mount as well as the MFT mount for pro camcorders.

“Real” Photoshop for iPad . . . With Layers
One of the coolest things at the Photoshop World 2011 Keynote this morning was the unveiling of the Photoshop for iPad tech that Adobe is working on. Samsung NX11 Launch Delayed Until Mid-April . . . Probably
Just got word on the lingering Samsung NX11, which was announced in December 2010 with an anticipated release date of February 2011. After checking it out at CES 2011 and posting a hands-on review, I’ve been waiting and waiting for it to show up at B&H Photo, Adorama and Amazon.
But those retailers don’t even have a product listing for the camera yet – a bit odd for a camera that was supposed to be out last month. [Read more…]
