Deal: Fuji Instax Mini 8 for $49
Amazon has a great deal on the Fuji Instax Mini 8 for just $49 right now. These usually run closer to $60 but are available in several colors for $49. Amazon has been in and out of stock with the Mini 8 some lately (it’s the most popular camera on Amazon), so I don’t expect this to last long. Check it out here on Amazon.com.

Sony A6000, A5100 and A7 Cameras Firmware Update 3.10
Sony has released a firmware update for for the A6000, A7R II, A7R, A7S A7 II, A7 and A5100 cameras. The firmware version 3.10 adds new lens support, phase detection AF support (for compatible cameras) and movie AF support for the new 85mm f/1.4 GM lens.
It’s good to see Sony supporting older cameras after the new whiz-bang models come out. You can download the new firmware by searching for your specific camera model here on Sony’s website.

Canon EOS C500 4K Cinema Camera Drops to $9,999
The Canon EOS C500 4K cinema camera has dropped from $15,999 to $9,999, which is a solid price considering that it launched for $30,000 in 2012 and it is a 10-bit 4K RAW camera that is almost ready to shoot out of the box.
Sure, Canon is rumored to launch a new EOS Cinema camera that shoots 8K video around NAB next month, but it won’t be under $10K and it likely won’t be on shelves for a few months anyway. Check out the discounted EOS C500 in EF or PL mounts here at B&H Photo.
