How to Automate Focus Stacking in Photoshop
In the above video, Photoshop Principal Product Manager Bryan O’Neil Hughes shows us how to use several different images with different focus points and create a focus stacked image in Photoshop so that everything is in focus.
During the automation process, Photoshop keeps every image on a separate layer and automatically creates a mask to reveal the areas of the particular layer that is in focus.

Blackmagic Camera v. 1.9.5 Firmware Update Adds SSD Formatting to Production Camera 4K
Blackmagic has added yet another firmware update for the Production Camera 4K. The new Camera v. 1.9.5 update adds the ability to directly format an SSD to HFS+ or exFAT within the camera.
The firmware is currently being worked on for the other Blackmagic cameras. You can download the update for the Production Camera 4K here on Blackmagic Design’s website.
