I have few complaints about the Olympus FE-370. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, compact digital camera this one is well worth considering.

It looks like both Ritz (at least the kit w/ 24-105mm lens has) and Adorama have begun to ship the Canon 5D Mark II. Unless you got on the pre-order boat early, you may have to wait a bit more for the next shipment or so to come in.
Again, for those still shopping, the Canon 5D Mark II is available (depending on supply) from the following trusted vendors:
Canon 5D Mark II (body only) – Ritz Camera
Canon 5D Mark II (body only) – Amazon.com
Canon 5D Mark II w/ 24-105mm L lens – Amazon.com
Canon 5D Mark II (body only) – Adorama

Just hours after the Nikon D3X was announced a number of online retailers offered buyers the opportunity to pre-order the camera. Unlike the Canon 5D Mark II, the Nikon D3X will be available shortly after the announcement. Mid-December is what I’m hearing for shipping dates. So, it’s possible that you could have your D3X by Christmas.
Here are the pre-order links for the Nikon D3X:

PhotographyBLOG has posted a review of the Pentax K-m / K2000.
The new Pentax K-m is another excellent addition to Pentax’s DSLR range. Seamlessly slotting in below the K200D, it offers a simpler and more intuitive layout that will suit beginners better.

Ryan Brenizer has posted a review of the Panasonic Lumix LX3.
Since the LX3 starts at ISO 80 and can easily sync with flashes at 1/2000th of a second, it’s almost 20 times as effective as my $5,000 D3 at canceling out ambient light.

Studio Impressions Blog has posted a short hands-on account of time spent with a pre-production Nikon D3X along with some JPEG sample images.
Even though the camera was a pre-production model I was extremely impressed with both the camera and lens. As you will see with the images I have posted the clarity, sharpness, dynamic range is exceptional.

Digital Camera Review has posted a review of the Canon PowerShot A1000 IS.
After using both the A1000 and the A2000, I’m impressed with their efficacy as image-makers, but I miss the better responsiveness, control, and creative potential of the older A series models.

Congratulations to the winners. I will contact you via Flickr to get your addresses and color preferences for the shipment of your Seagate FreeAgent Go Drives.
First off, thanks to all the Photography Bay readers for getting involved in this contest. We had approximately 400 photos submitted (and tagged properly) for entry into the contest. Hopefully, we can do it again soon. You can peruse all of the entries (and more) in the Photography Bay Flickr Pool.
Thanks to the judges for lending their time and expertise:
Rich Legg of LeggNet’s Digital Capture
Brian Auer of Epic Edits
Jeff and Lisa (jointly) of Beyond Megapixels
Darren Rowse of Digital Photography School
Please take the time to visit these great photography resources. I read everything these guys publish and they are all truly top notch sites. Again, thanks for the help guys.
And finally, thanks to our sponsor, Seagate, for providing the FreeAgent Go Drives as prizes. So much goes into the digital photography workflow that storage and file management solutions are often overlooked. Visit Seagate’s website to learn more about the FreeAgent Go Drives and other storage solutions.
