DxO has announced a new camera, the DxO ONE, which attaches to an iPhone’s Lightning port and works with an iOS app. The DxO ONE features a 20.2MP 1″ CMOS sensor that will capture RAW format images, along with a new SuperRAW Plus format that automatically merges four RAW files into one. DxO Labs has released DxO OpticsPro v10.4, DxO FilmPack v5.1.2 and DxO ViewPoint v2.5.4, which add RAW file support for the Nikon D7200 and Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II.
The updates also add optics module support for a number of camera and lens combination, including the new Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L USM and Nikon 400mm f/2.8E FL ED VR lenses.

DxO Mark has published its review of the new Canon 7D Mark II, including an in-depth look at the sensor performance. Notably, DxO Mark says the 7D Mark II’s sensor lags behind competitors in low ISO performance. DxO still considers the Sony A77 II a better choice for overall image quality. [Read more…]
DxO Labs has released DxO OpticsPro 10, which adds DxO ClearView, a new feature that eliminates atmospheric haze. This new version also enhances its PRIME denoising technology, a noise reduction approach that DxO claims can improve image quality of up to one full stop over the best noise reduction algorithms currently on the market. DxO Optics Pro has been updated to version 9.1.4 with added support for the Nikon D4S, Sony A5000, Leica X Vario (Type 107) and GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition. Additionally, 170 new camera/lens combos have been added to library of DxO Optics Modules.
