The tiny new GoPro HERO4 Session is now in stock and shipping to customers. The HERO4 Session captures 1080/60p video, as well as the taller frame 1920 x 1440p video at 30fps. It can also deliver 720p video at 100 fps for roughly 4x slow motion when conformed to a 24p edit timeline. Check it out here at B&H Photo.
Today, GoPro announced a new, ultra-compact camera, the HERO4 Session. It is a small 1.5″ cube camera that bears a striking resemblance to the Polaroid Cube. Polar Pro makes some great accessories for GoPro cameras. Along with some drone accessories, that’s really all the company makes.
The company started making filters for GoPro cameras in 2011 and has expanded to offer a full line of GoPro accessories. Over the past year or two, Polar Pro has introduced several new products that add to the functionality of GoPro cameras, including a GoPro mic, an iPhone case with a GoPro mount and GoPro camera bags with built in power supplies.
The Polar Pro PowerPole is an extendable pole for capturing action sports and other activities with your GoPro. The main difference between it and other GoPro extension poles is that it contains a 5200mAh battery inside that can give your GoPro up to 10 hours record time. GoPro Athlete Dane Jackson ventures to a kayaker’s paradise in Veracruz, Mexico to chase some of the most challenging waterfalls in the world.
I like the smart edits that use the underwater impacts to change to the various GoPro HERO4 cameras on Jackson and his kayak as the short video builds to its climax. Solid pacing for a 2-minute YouTube video.

DJI has singlehandedly launched the drone market into the stratosphere. The DJI Phantom is instantly recognizable and synonymous with the word “drone.” It is nearly a household name. Just last week, we saw one at the center of a sequence on Big Bang Theory.
