Samyang has announced a new 35mm f/1.4 lens available in Canon mount with auto exposure, though it is still a manual focus lens. Additionally, a new 300mm f/6.3 mirror lens will be available in Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony A and Micro 4/3 mounts.
Alongside the new still photography lenses, Samyang also announced a trio of cine lenses for mirrorless cameras – Samyang 10mm T3.1, 12mm T2.2 and 7.5mm T3.8 lenses. All of the lenses are cinema versions of previously-existing still lenses. Now, they feature the standard gearing on aperture and focus rings.
These new lenses will go on sale tomorrow. Watch for them here at B&H Photo.

Samyang has announced a new cine lens based on its 16mm f/2 lens, which will feature geared focus and aperture rings for smooth control using follow focus systems. The Samyang V-DSLR 16mm T2.2 ED AS UMC CS lens should arrive in early September for most DSLR and mirrorless mounts with APS-C or smaller sensors.
Retail price will be EUR 419. No word on US pricing yet; however, based on the price of other Samyang cine lenses, I would guess it will be in the $500-$550 range.
