Fuji X-A2 Mirrorless Camera with Two New X-Series Lenses Unveiled
The Fuji X-A2 was just announced and features a 16.3MP APS-C sensor with a tilting LCD that lets you rotate it to be viewable from the front of the camera. It’s a “selfie” feature according to Fuji.
The X-A2 is the latest in the Fuij X-series mirrorless camera line and ships with a new Fuji XC 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS zoom lens, which Fuji claims delivers 3.5-stops of camera shake reduction. The X-A2 also features a new AF system, built-in WiFi and captures 1080p video. [Read more…]

Fuji Introduces Macro Extension Tubes for X-Series
Fuji has announced two new Macro Extension Tubes for its X-Series cameras. The new extension tubes are the MCEX-11 and MCEX-16 feature electronic contacts to maintain normal AE functions and blend in with the overall X-Series aesthetics.
The new extension tubes should be available mid-December for $99.95. You should be able to find them soon here at B&H Photo.
Pro Photographer Explains His Switch from Nikon to Fuji Mirrorless
Last week, I shared how one pro photographer switched from Nikon to Sony’s mirrorless cameras. But Sony isn’t the only mirrorless camera maker that is firing on all cylinders.

Sony RX100 III vs. Fuji X30 Comparison
Kai over at DigitalRev recently took the Sony RX100 III and Fuji X30 for a test drive with the intent of finding out which camera is the better advanced pocket shooter.
On the spec side, the RX100 II leads the way with a larger 1″ sensor and higher resolution at 20.1MP. The Fuji X30 has a 2/3″ sensor and 12MP resolution. He covers ergonomics of the two cameras as well and gives quite a bit of attention to the electronic viewfinders. Check out the video above for the full report.
Fuji X-Pro2 Due Early 2015?
New rumors suggest that Fuji may release the long-awaited X-Pro2 in early 2015. The X-Pro2 was previously rumored to be a full frame camera; however, recent info direct from Fuji denies that it will move to full frame and further commits that Fuji will stick with the APS-C format in the foreseeable future for its popular X-Series line of mirrorless cameras.
