I don’t think I’ve had more fun with a camera since I first held the 5D Mark II.  Sure, it’s got some quirks, but the excellent image quality and amazing flash sync speed push the Fuji X100 into the front runner position as my personal pick for camera of the year.  We’ll see what the rest of the year holds; however, it will take some serious innovation to unseat the X100.  Find it at B&H Photo (when it’s in stock). Polaroid Grey Label GL10

Polaroid’s GL10 instant printer, which it announced at CES with Lady Gaga, is now available at Bloomingdale’s for $169.99.  Thirty sheets of photo paper for the 3″ x 4″ prints it produces runs $19.99.

WD TV Live Hub and WD Photos App Review

The WD TV Live Hub is a set top box for your TV that gives you access to streaming content like Netflix and Pandora.  Other services like Flickr and Facebook are also accessible through the WD TV Live Hub.

However, where it beats out other streaming devices is with the inclusion of a 1TB hard drive and the ability to share media across devices on your network and remotely with your iOS or Android devices using the WD Photos App. [Read more…]
