Pierre Angenieux was a French engineer and optician and one of the inventors of the modern zoom lens. He’s best known for introducing the Angenieux retrofocus, a wide-angle lens boasting an inverted telephoto configuration. Fuji’s new Instax mini Monochrome file is now shipping from Amazon. It’s the same Instax mini format that we’ve grown to love for the Instax Mini 8 and Mini 70, among others. As with other Instax mini film, it’s not exactly cheap. You get 10 exposures for around $15. But, hey, now we’ve got some black and white action for our instant cameras again.
I’m not sure if the going rate will remain at $15; however, you can still pre-order the film from B&H (not shipping just yet) for $9.99.
