It looks like Sigma is about to announce a new 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM lens in its Sports line.

Zeiss has launched a new line of lenses for the Sony full frame E-mount, which currently includes the A7, A7R and A7S models. The two lenses launching the Sony E-mount are the Zeiss Loxia 35mm f/2 Biogon T* and the Zeiss Loxia 50mm f/2 Planar T*, which are priced at $1299 and $949, respectively. Samyang has posted another teaser on its Facebook page shortly after it launched the new 50mm T1.5 lens last week. The tag line on the cryptic image reads “Prepare for more…”
Photo Rumors has received a tip that the new lens will be a wide angle photo lens that should be released in the coming days in the lead up to Photokina 2014.
Well, this is a new one. It looks like Canon has dropped the retail prices on several of its L-series lenses. While it is common to see rebate deals pop up throughout the year, it looks like this is just a straight up drop in pricing on these lens models instead of the periodic price raises we’ve seen in recent years.
Hopefully, these new “regular” prices will stick around permanently.
