Photos Become a Contextual Search Tool with Google Image Search

Google has announced a new “Search by Image” feature that allows you to start with a photo to conduct your searches online.

Twitter Teams with Photobucket for Direct Photo Sharing

I’ve never tried to capture these types of shots, but Ben sure makes enticing.  Of course, I’m not a real fan of cold weather (apparently, when the sky is the clearest).

Detained for “Photography” by Maryland Transit Police

Train fanatic Christopher Fussell was shooting photos and video of Baltimore’s light rail train when he was stopped and detained by Maryland Transit Police.  The police insisted that it was illegal to take photos and video of the transit system telling him that he “need[s] to cease and desist with the photographing and continue on your way.” [Read more…]

Hasselblad H4D-200MS

Hasselblad recently launched its latest medium format camera in the H4D line.  The new H4D-200MS sports a 50MP sensor and includes all of the features found in the H4D-50 and H4D-50MS; however, the 200MS now has the ability to capture 200MP images by shifting the sensor and capturing multi-shot images.
