Sony has a number of Alpha models (both DSLR and NEX) on special through March 5, 2011. Most of the instant rebates are $50 off and include the new Sony A33 and NEX-3. Additionally, the A900 has a $200 instant rebate; however, those are apparently in short supply at the moment.

Earlier this week, I passed along the refurbished Nikon P100 that B&H is selling for $299. Well, B&H just tipped me on several other Nikon refurb deals that they’ve got going on right now, including a Nikon D90, L110 and even and F100 35mm SLR.

B&H Photo has a solid deal on some refurbished Nikon P100 cameras for $299.95. These normally go for around $400, so we’re talking about some pretty solid savings here.

Nikon’s Instant Rebates for select DSLR and lens combos is set to expire on May 1 (that’s next Saturday) May 29 (updated). You can get some significant savings (up to $400) on these combos by taking advantage of the Instant Rebates. One of the best things about the new Instant Rebate approach that Nikon and other camera manufacturers are taking is that there are no forms to mail in and wait 6-8 weeks for your check to show up in the mail.

Canon has introduced a new instant rebate program for the 50D DSLR, along with a couple of lenses when purchased with the camera. If you aren’t into the video scene and are just looking for a capable DSLR for still images, this wouldn’t be a bad time to pick one of these up.
