HP has announced several new products at PMA 2010 – the HP CW450, PW550z, SW450, CW450t and PW460t point and shoot cameras, as well as the V1020h, V5061u and V5560u camcorders. All of these new cameras are budget-friendly and range in price from $99 to $199.

As part of PMA 2010, Joby has announced two new products – the Gorillapod Magnetic and the Ballhead X.
The Gorillapod Magnetic is a lot like an ordinary Gorillapod; however, it features magnetic feet, which allows it to attach to any magnetic surface. It supports cameras weighing up to 11.5 ounces. The Gorillapod Magnetic should be available in April 2010 for $24.95.
The Ballhead X is designed to work in conjunction with the Gorillapod Focus tripod. The Ballhead X supports up to 11.1lbs and allows you to pan, tilt and rotate the attached camera atop the Gorillapod. the Ballhead X works with 3/8″ and 1/4″ threads, which allows it to be used on any other tripod as well. A little over a year ago, I reviewed the Flip MinoHD camcorder and gave it a glowing recommendation. Since then, the MinoHD has been by my side for a ton of daily video clips. I’ve recorded more video in the past year than I’ve recorded in the previous 5 years. Why? Because it’s easy and the Flip MinoHD can fit in my pocket and, as a result, it’s always with me.
