Photoshop has presets available in a variety of locations – from Camera Raw to filters and adjustment layers. Not only can you apply presets to still images, you can also apply presets to videos. Canon has issued a firmware update for the EOS 1D C. Firmware version 1.3.5 “Fixes a phenomenon in which the line-level audio input function of some EOS-1D C cameras does not operate as expected with Firmware Version 1.3.4.” [Read more…]
Recent rumors suggest that the Canon 7D replacement, tentatively called the 7D Mark II, will be getting more of a pro look and feel for its control systems. Specifically, the rumors assert that the 7D Mark II will feature an EOS-1 style top plate. As a result, there will be no mode dial and it will function more like a pro-level camera in terms of the external controls. [Read more…]
Panasonic just announced the Lumix FZ1000, which features a 20.1MP 1-inch sensor and a 16x optical zoom lens with a 25-400mm (35mm equivalent) zoom lens. The lens is relatively bright for such an impressive range with a variable aperture of f/2.8-4. [Read more…]
