How to Create a Vignette in Photoshop
Here’s another quick tutorial from Photoshop Principal Product Manager Bryan O’Neil Hughes explains how to create a vignette in Photoshop. In the video, he shows off the effects of different sliders in the Post Crop Vignette panel inside Camera Raw. Of course, the same sliders and tools are present in Lightroom if you haven’t explored them yet.
Additionally, he shows how to use the Lens Correction tools inside of Photoshop itself to add a vignette. Finally, he shows how to use the radial filter tool in Camera Raw to create an off-center vignette.

How to Use the DNG Profile Editor to Adjust Color and Light
Check out this video from Photoshop Principal Product Manager Bryan O’Neil Hughes as he shows how to use the DNG Profile Editor (Mac | Windows) to adjust color and light.
The DNG Profile Editor is a free utility from Adobe. You can use it build profiles for camera and lens combos, which he shows in the above example. These profiles can be used in Camera Raw or Lightroom under the Camera Calibration pane.

Perfect Photo Suite 9 Announced
onOne Software has announced Perfect Photo Suite 9 with a number of new features. Among the key new features are fast previews of RAW files, a new Smart Photo feature, which lets you re-edit photos with previous settings intact and improved masking tools. Additionally, noise reduction is now part of the Suite as a result of user feedback and requests.
Perfect Photo Suite 9 will be available in late October 2014 in two versions: Premium and Basic. The Premium version includes support as a plug-in ofr Photoshop, Lightroom, Photoshop Elements and Aperture; and retails for $129.95. The Basic version doesn’t offer plug-in support but functions as a standalone image editor; and retails for $79.95.
The Premium version is available for a limited time to owners of previous versions of Perfect Photo Suite for $89.95.

Upload Photos from Lightroom to 500px with this Plugin
500px has a new plugin for Lightroom that allows you to upload images directly from your Lightroom library to your 500px account. You can download the Publisher plugin here from 500px.

Adobe Releases Guide for Moving from Aperture to Lightroom
With the recent news that Apple is killing off Aperture, many users are flocking to Adobe Lightroom, while others are waiting it out to see what Apple has in store with its new Photos app due in OS X 10.10 Yosemite.
In the mean time, Adobe has created a guide for those who are interested in transitioning from Aperture to Lightroom. You can download the guide here on Adobe’s website. While Adobe pushes pretty heavy for the Creative Cloud Photography plan on the page where you find the guide, you can still buy a perpetual license for Lightroom.

How to Create an Artistic Double Exposure in Photoshop
Check out this video from Andrew Klokow as he walks you through his process of creating a double exposure in Photoshop.
In the video, he combines images of a bride and a floral bouquet into a single image in Photoshop. He then imports the combined image into Lightroom for some finishing touches.
